AI in Medicine Community Symposium

Join us for the AI in Medicine Community Symposium, a free community conversation designed to make artificial intelligence in healthcare understandable, practical, and relevant to everyday people. Presented by The Gailen and Cathy Reevers Center for Community Empowerment, Celebrate Life Cancer Ministry, and Healthy Lungs California. This symposium will bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, cancer advocates, survivors, caregivers, faith communities, and families to explore how AI is changing medicine—and what those changes may mean for our communities.

The program will feature keynote speaker Dr. Bino Varghese and panelists Damien Halliburton, Dr. Anton Bilchik, Karen Busa, and Patricia Williams. Together, they will discuss AI in clear, community-friendly language, including its role in healthcare, cancer research, patient care, innovation, and the future of medicine. Community members will also have an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and become better informed about this rapidly developing technology.
