Shepherd's Manor

 What is Shepherd's Manor?
A temporary non-medical healing haven for cancer fighters currently in treatment for cancer.

A part of our mission is to establish "Shepherd's Manor", a home away from home, for cancer patients. This project will be funded through fundraising efforts special events and corporate partners.

Inspiration for Shepherd's Manor
A long term hard working lady, diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer had medical insurance but no sick time from her employer.  Therefore, medical treatment was not a problem.  However, if she has the treament, she will miss work and recieve no pay.  She decided to get her finances to a place where she could afford to stay home and recieve her treatment without the worry of being evicted.  Unfortunately, she lost her battle.  No one should ever have to make a decision like this.
